Pokémon cards
The deepest market in the hobby. Vintage holos price off the grade, modern sets price off print run and how long a set stays in production.
Graded slabs with visible cert numbers, sealed booster boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes.
Football cards
Panini and Topps run the licensed lines UK collectors grew up on. Prizm and Select carry the numbered parallels and on-card autographs.
Topps Premier League boxes and tins, Match Attax, Champions League, graded rookies.
One Piece cards
Short print windows and a fast meta. Prices swing on which leaders are playable and how long a set stays out of reprint.
Sealed booster boxes, alternate art leaders, manga rares and parallels.
Yu-Gi-Oh! cards
Vintage trades on edition and condition. Modern trades on playability, and reprints in tins and structure decks pull staples down.
First edition vintage, graded singles, sealed modern boxes and tins.
Magic: The Gathering cards
Two separate demands hold the price up: tournament staples people need four of, and scarce treatments people chase once.
Singles listed by set and treatment, plus unopened sealed boxes.
Star Wars cards
Value concentrates in autographs, low numbered parallels and clean copies of the older Topps runs.
Star Wars Unlimited, Topps chrome and refractor singles, sealed boxes.
Basketball cards
The most grade sensitive of the sports categories. One point of grade on a rookie can double the price.
Prizm and Select parallels, graded rookies, sealed boxes.
Current stock
Pick the franchise, then pick the format
Every franchise here sells in three formats: graded slabs, sealed product and raw singles. Graded cards fix the condition and price off the grade, so you know what you are buying without holding it. Sealed boxes trade on availability, which is why prices move when a print run closes rather than when a card gets hyped.
Raw singles suit set builders and anyone planning to submit for grading themselves. Each listing states the set, the treatment and the condition or grade up front.
What a grade is worth across franchises
Grading pays off differently by franchise. On modern Pokémon and basketball, most copies grade well, so demand concentrates at the top and a 10 carries a large premium. On vintage Yu-Gi-Oh! and older football stock, condition varies enough that a mid grade still separates a good copy from a poor one.
Our grading comparison covers PSA, BGS and CGC on price, turnaround and resale, with the current cost tables for each.
