Two things drive the price of a Pokémon card: the set it came from and the grade on the slab. A Base Set holo in a PSA 9 sits in a different market to the same card raw, and both sit apart from a modern chase card pulled last month.
We list graded cards with the certification number visible so you can check the card on the grader's own database before you buy. Sealed product stays sealed: no weighing, no resealing, no picked boxes.
Graded cards give you a fixed condition and a resale market that prices off the grade. If you want a specific card at a known condition, buy the slab.
Sealed boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes give you the pull and the option to hold. Print runs close, stock dries up, and sealed modern sets tend to move on availability rather than condition.
Look at centering, edge whitening, surface scratches under angled light, and the print quality of the holo pattern. Counterfeit modern cards usually fail on texture and back colour.
